Karika 60: Prakriti serves, asking nothing

The benevolent prakriti, endowed with the [three] attributes (gunas), by manifold means, accomplishes the purpose [of experience or liberation] of the ungrateful soul, which is without the attributes; prakriti does so [selflessly and] to no purpose [of its own].
