The righteousness etc. dispositions (bhāvas) of the Intellect are innate, natural and acquired, and they reside in the Intellect. The zygote (the fusion of ovum and semen) and the states that follow from it are seen to reside in the effect, that is, the gross body.
Where the dispositions come from
All of them reside in the Intellect. The zygote (kalala) and the stages that follow it reside in the gross body.
